Job Opportunities

Join the Farm Camp Staff

We are currently hiring instructors and counselors to be part of our Farm Camp staff! We are looking for energetic individuals who love kids, dirt, sunshine, and fresh vegetables. Farm camp runs from July 16th through August 31st. It is our preference to bring on a team who can commit to the full 7 weeks plus one full day the week prior to the start of camp for training and Counselors In Training (CIT) programming.

Counselors support campers in all of their daily needs, from helping them feel comfortable at drop off, to making sure they stay hydrated throughout the day, to supporting and encouraging budding friendships, to helping kids get their things together at the end of the day.

Candidates must have experience working with or being with children, must be organized and energetic, and be able to engage with young children and direct CITs. Candidates who are interested in pursuing a teaching career or working in a related field are encouraged to apply. This position is 36 hours a week on-site with opportunities for additional hours running our before and after care programs.

To apply, please send your resume, cover letter, and three references to Sember Weinman at

Instructors develop the programming for our morning and afternoon sessions. Our instructors are able to effectively and joyfully teach groups of 12 campers about nature, food, farming, art, and animals. Educators who can bring a special talent to share with the camp community--such as musical ability, artistic creativity, love of the outdoors, etc. is a plus.

Candidates must have teaching experience with a variety of ages, ability to write dynamic, experiential-based lesson plans, and an ability to work together as a team with our farm crew, the other instructors, CITs and our counselors.  The position includes 36 hours on-site plus 4 hours each week to plan and prep for lessons. A two-week visiting instructor position is also available to work with our 9-12 year olds for our Animals in the Wild and Living Wild weeks.

To apply, submit a resume and cover letter, three references, and a sample lesson plan to Sember Weinman at
