Wilderness Skills Spring Series
Through this program your child will learn basic survival skills and will engage in activities and experiences to become junior naturalists! Programs will include hiking, woods explorations, wildlife identification, using and making tools, building shelters, fire building, and much more! Participants will leave with an enhanced understanding of the Hudson Valley Region, what is unique to our area, how to coexist with the natural world, and how to survive the elements.
This spring, Wilderness Skills will be led by instructor Ally Britton, who is Common Ground Farm’s Animals in the Wild, Living Wild, and Living Wild Off The Land instructor for our oldest campers at Farm Camp.
