Farm Open House
Saturday May 10th from 9:00 to 12:00

Join us at the farm for our sixth annual open house at the farm. Come reconnect to the farm and fields and find out what's in store for the season. The event will feature garden tours and samples from the fields. This is a great opportunity to come and find out how you too can receive a weekly supply of fresh, nutritious, locally grown produce. We encourage you to come by, bring your friends and neighbors and find out more about us! The farm is located on the grounds of Stonykill Environmental Center just north of Beacon, NY (Route 9D, about 2miles north of I-84 exit 11.)

Please join us for a potluck and barn dance in the beautiful and historic theatre space at the University Settlement Camp. This will be a joyous gathering with home-cooked food and a Contra Dance caller for a full hour of community dance! Our gathering will also be an important informational meeting to learn about what's new at the farm this season and an opportunity to get involved with what is going on at the farm. Mark this date on your calendar. We can't wait to see you!

Reese Presentation
Common Ground Farm gave a presentation to the town of Wappingers, outlining our plans for the our new farm on the Reese property on Marlorville Road. We were well received and the town seemed thrilled at the idea of having our farm in their community. We discussed our operations at the present and our plans for growing the farm, our community and greatly expanding our educational programs at the new location, including building a new educational building as part of a phased building plan. Please take a moment to check out the Powerpoint presentation(yes, a farm giving a Powerpoint!) that we presented, basically a high-falutin slide show--but pretty pics and a nice overview of the farm.
