Common Ground Farm partners with the Green Teen Community Gardening Program to operate Common Greens, a mobile farmers market bringing reduced priced produce to seniors and low income families in Beacon, with the teens operating the market for sixteen weeks a year. Through this initiative we are building deeper roots in our community, improving access to healthy food and creating meaningful work for the youths involved. This project helps them learn first hand about the food system and to make a positive impact in the community.
