Food Justice is the driving force behind our Fair Food programs. Common Ground Farm is dedicated to working within our community to bring healthy food to those who need it, regardless of income, mobility or other barriers to access.  

We do that by donating food directly to the food pantry and by subsidizing the cost of produce through our Fair Share program.

We also bring reduced priced produce directly to the community through Common Greens, a mobile market run by local teens, in partnership with the Green Teen Community Gardening Program. Further, through our partnership with the Green Teens, we work with local youth who, through the real work of farming, marketing and food justice outreach, build skills and knowledge about a sustainable food system.

In addition, the Common Ground Farm booth is proud to sponsor the EBT machine for the entire Beacon Farmer's Market.
