2015 Apprenticeships at Common Ground Farm

Common Ground Farm seeks 2-3 full-time Farm Apprentices for the 2015 growing season, April/May through October/November (dates negotiable). The apprentices will work directly with the Farm Manager to fulfill Common Ground’s mission, which includes:

Food Access: Grow, harvest, and deliver vegetables for 2 local food pantries and 1 soup kitchen;

Land Stewardship: Support annual vegetable production and soil fertility plan for 3 acres in production (7 total acres) including seeding, transplanting, maintenance, harvest, processing, distribution/sales, and record keeping… Read More.

Thanks to your support in 2014 we donated 3,000 pounds of locally grown vegetables to food pantries and soup kitchens, and over 2,000 kids and adults attended hands-on education programs at the Farm. As our focus turns to plans for 2015, we ask you to help the farm continue to thrive and to grow our education, farm-to-school, and food access programs… Read More.
