COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE (CSA) AT COMMON GROUND FARM
Common Ground Farm was founded in 2001 to bring the model and tradition of CSA to the Hudson Valley. As we enter our 25th year, we are thrilled to offer our most flexible CSA program yet!
Choose from the options below or mix and match to build the experience that fits your needs:
U-Pick CSA
The original and what we're known for! If you’ve been a CSA member with Common Ground Farm, this is likely what you’ve experienced.
This is a pick-your-own format, meaning you come to the farm and we direct you to the available crops and how to harvest them yourself! A great way to get onto the farm, into the dirt, and connect with our community. A great introduction to where food comes from for kids!
You’ll receive a weekly newsletter with info on available produce, how to harvest, recipes, and farm updates. We ask our members to bring their own bags, harvesting tools (such as a pair of scissors), and quart/pint containers when necessary. But don’t worry, if you forget we keep a few extras on hand!
When & Where:
June 10 - Aug 29, 2026 (12 weeks)
Harvest Windows: Wednesdays 3:00pm - 7:00pm OR Saturdays 8:00am - 1:00pm
79 Farmstead Lane in Wappingers Falls
Cost:
Pay in Full: $360 (which works out to $30/week)
Payment Plan: $96.25/month for 4 months
With SNAP: $15/week (Email Farmer Rhys to coordinate!)
EXTEND YOUR CSA SEASON to 20 WEEKS:
After U-Pick CSA ends, we offer an additional 8 weeks of veggies through our Fall CSA! This way, you can experience a full 20 weeks of Common Ground produce.
During the fall season, the farmers will do the work of harvesting the veggies and herbs each week. We’ll greet you as you come to the farm to pick-up your share and give you a run down of what’s available. We’ll display the produce market-style, that way you can pick which veggies and herbs you’d like to take home.

accessibility
We strive to make our CSA as accessible as possible. Here are three alternative methods of payment that we offer in case paying upfront in-full is cost prohibitive for you.
Payment Plans
We offer payment plans as a way for members to pay for their share incrementally over the course of 4 months. A $25 administrative fee is added to the total price of your chosen CSA membership in order to cover the added labor involved with payment plans.
The last date to initiate your payment plan is March 29, 2026 at 11:59pm. We are unable to accept payment plans after this date. However, you can pay the full price upfront until June 9, 2026 if you miss the payment plan deadline.
APPLY FOR A WORK SHARE MEMBERSHIP
For folks who are interested in getting their hands dirty and helping out with field work, we offer a weekly share of veggies, herbs, and flowers in exchange for working with the farmers in the fields. No prior farming experience is required. We will train you and work alongside you in the fields. We have 20 work share spots open for the 2026 season. Please note: your application does not guarantee you a spot in our CSA. We will get back to you no later than April 15, 2026 in regards to your application status.
Pay using SNAP/EBT
Through Glynwood’s CSA is a SNAP program, we are able to offer folks the opportunity to pay using SNAP/EBT at half the cost of a weekly share. Please email Farmer Rhys to state your interest!
Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT IS A CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture describes a model of food distribution that directly connected farmers with consumers. Essentially a subscription for produce where you pay upfront for a growing season’s worth, CSA memberships serve as a way for community members to financially support farms over the winter, allowing them to retain employees and purchase seed and equipment. It’s a great way to deepen your connections—with your food, with the land that nourishes you, with your farmers, and with your neighbors! Check out the untold history of CSAs here.
WHICH VEGGIES CAN I EXPECT EACH WEEK?
Every week, you’ll take home 6-8 different farm-fresh veggies plus herbs. On top of that, starting in July, members can harvest flowers. In the spring, you can expect lots of greens and root veggies. As we transition into summer, you can expect favorites like cucumbers, summer squash, potatoes, and onions among others. By the time mid July hits, you’ll get an abundance of tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, and more! With the onset of fall, we’ll return back to a variety of cold-hardy greens and delicious root veggies. We do our best to rotate veggies week by week and give a nice variety of veggies to keep things interesting!
CAN I PURCHASE JUST AN 8-WEEK FALL CSA SHARE?
Yes! We haven’t launched sales for the 8-week shares yet- those will go on sale in July, so stay tuned!
Refund Policy
A full refund (minus a $25 processing fee) is available upon request prior to May 31, 2026, after which no refunds will be granted.
