2026 PLANT SALE!

Join us on May 9th as we celebrate spring by helping our community start their gardens! Common Ground is proud to share that we are providing fiscal sponsorship to Beacon Pollinators, a community initiative dedicated to creating pollinator pathways throughout the City of Beacon through the planting of native plants.

Common Ground Farm will offer a wide selection of farmer-grown vegetable, herb, and annual flower seedlings. A sampling of offerings include tomatoes such as Sungold, Cherokee Purple, and San Marzano; peppers including lunchbox, jalapeño, and shishito; and vegetables such as kale, cabbage, cucumbers, squash, melons, and tomatillos. Culinary herbs will include basil, thyme, oregano, parsley, chamomile, cilantro, and dill. Flower varieties will include zinnias, sunflowers, snapdragons, calendula, marigolds, cosmos, and celosia, offering options for both home food production and pollinator-friendly gardens.

Beacon Pollinators will be offering 14 different varieties of perennials and starter shrubs. A sampling of the perennials include butterfly weed, slender mountain mint, monarda, and wild geranium. Starter shrubs include serviceberry, witch hazel, ninebark, chokeberry and flowering dogwood to name just a small selection. The native plants are priced as a suggested donation.
