Visitor Information: The entire Stony Kill property is open from dawn to dusk. Visitors are welcome to enjoy walking through the farm property, including the nature trails in the woods by the Manor House. There are also picnic tables for lunch and snacks. Visitors are welcome to walk on the grassy pathways at Common Ground Farm, however please do not enter the vegetable fields unless you are participating in a program or volunteering. Dogs are not allowed.
There are many ways to get more involved and visit the farm regularly, including our weekly summertime U-Pick vegetable share. Common Ground Farm also welcomes volunteers to help on the farm, including groups. Volunteers also help us deliver vegetables every week to our food pantry and soup kitchen partners. We host birthday parties on the farm and a wide range of children’s education including Preschool on the Farm and Farm Camp.
Getting there: Common Ground Farm is located at 79 Farmstead Lane in Wappingers Falls, New York on the historic Stony Kill Farm property. There are two entrances to the property, and Common Ground Farm is located by the southern entrance. Visitor parking is by the red barns, and Common Ground’s sign and fields are to the left past the picnic tables.
